Proposed Tune Hotel Building

This project studio was done when i was in 3rd year, semester1, in my Urban Studio Workbase under Mr.Yusri. We were assigned to design a Tune Hotel in Kampung Cina, Kuala Terengganu. During this project i'd learned how to synchronize the client requirements to match with the site surrounding. As the site was located in a Chinese Settlement, i'd tried to bring the sense of welcoming as the site was located next to the gateway of Kampung Cina. The precedent study was taken from temple architecture, where it helped me a lot in arranging the spaces inside the hotel. We were required to understand the concept of Tune Hotel, where bigger spaces were needed to become commercial areas as to gain more profit to the client. Total height was 7-storey building.
