I would like to take every opportunity to say my heartiest appreciation to you and all of AMG staffs for giving me a chance to complete my Practical Training II subject (SBA 4634) at your firm, which had been started from 3nd May 2010 until 30th June 2010.

Thank you very much for all your guidance, help and support throughout the day. I do learn a lot of new things and gain lots of experiences to be applied in my study and future undertaking.

dream-dream

Today is going to be the last day I’m in AMG (an architect firm in Desa Pandan,KL) – finish up my two-months practical training...yey! Btw, frankly speaking, I do think dat for this second stage of practical training, I didn’t learn a lot of thing, I mean, not as much as whut I’ve learned in my first stage of practical training... I dunno why...mybe because of there’s no any urgent assignment or submission was given to me during the day...(or it was me who had been so shy + passive, I knew that actually -_-“)

I was mainly involving myself in a lot OF presentation works – doing brochure, posters, 3D detail drawing + powerpoint presentation (which I love the most, if compared to the black-white autoCad thingy ~.~) . well...I shud be thankful for dat...huhehe...in addition, I oso did sume designs on plan + elevation drawing for housing + campus blocks for a university... which the submission date is goin to be after three months (still got plenty of tyme, so I acted so-so-so lazy in doin this).

But although my mind thought that it was kinda boring to do the practical training, still I do feel that life is so busy throughout the day. Life is so hectic, maybe becoz of a lot of things to be done in limited tyme. Furthermore...it seems like I dun belongs to an architect’s life…to be truth, working in an architect firm wasn’t an exact choice for me...well...me myself hv a plan for my future life...people who knows me really well may knoe whuts im going to say + do after finishing my 5-years-architecture course...

WELL, I do have an aim… an aim to absorb + turn + transform my architectural knowledge into the educational purposes. It all started from my mum + my dad who have been involving themselves in educational stream since they were young. They do motivate + encourage us to follow their footsteps (although nobody in our family ended up their study in educational course) and I respect them for being such amazing teachers for me...bla bla bla...

Weekend yang lalu, aku bersama teman-teman se-ofis kakFateh & jamie + photographer kakAyin sempat meninjau project housing keluaran AMG di Saujana Kajang...rumah semi-D 3-tingkat yang berharga mencecah lebey dari setengah juta (RM659,000++) itu mmg style (mungkin kerna interiornye yang nampak elegant) dgn theme black + white + grey in colour...mulanya kami x dibenarkan masok ke showhOuse itu kerna masa melawat sudeyh tamat...tapi di-sebabkan tiket kami sebagai Project Architect (kununnye), dapat-la masuk juga...dan berjaya membawa masuk kamera walaopun orang kebanyakan tidak di-benarkan membawa kamera...ouh...ak suke perasaan ituu...(sbb rase mcm VVIP...heh)










Malam itu kami bergerak utk beronggeng ke ICTshahAlam kerna kakAyin sebagai driver + photographer mahu men-snap gambar-gambar di sana...aku ikotkan saje...agipun kami-kami (plus ak yg xchantek ini) diminta menjadi model beliaOo...apelagih...first tyme berkunjung ke sana...dan...ak sukkeeee...nih favourite ak nih...kaler2 bergemerlapan sume...hoyeeee!!!

Walaopun dari segi etika serta pegangan arkitektur yang ak pelajari saban tahun selama 4tahun, bahawasanya mende-mende sebegini adalah sejenis pembaziran tenaga + wang ringgit, tapi kan....layannn...^^









kenapa saya suke kaler2? sbb colours give me inspiration...dulu masa-masa first/second/third year...ak terpikir nk buat thesis bertajuk 'colours and it effects to the development of children'....mase tuh ak terpikir nk buat project kindergarten...kerna...ak kan bekas penjaga tadika...huhe...ak sgt keanak-anakan ke? ~.~

hurm...tapi yg x-syok nyer....di-sebabkan ak balik lewat malam...nenek pon makan lewat malam kerna menunggu ak menemani beliau makan...huhu...kesian nenek saye...maafkan ina, nenek...pasni saye x balek lambat lagi...=(

tiba-tiba hari ni ku-rasa kan ade suatu bebanan di atas kepala...
sumenye berkaitan sewa rumah yg agak pelik ku rasa...
macm dh kene khencing ngan orang tu pon ade juge...
tp tape...bwk bertenang ye cik fadhlina...
setel-kan pelan2...huuu...
jika nk di-kirekan
bulan ni agak byk juga rezeki-ku lari...
kerna ak dengan bijak nye telah menghilang-kan claim ot-ku, yang mana segala catitan nya telah ak tulis di dalam diari...
ape yang bingai-nye adelah ak telah menge-post diari tersbut ke skooDIE-DIE-DIE utk di-nilai...jadi bagaimana cara-nya mahu men-claim ot?adehh...
dgn bijak-nya juga ak mendelete gift voucher jusco utk besdey-ku yg ke 23...setahun ak tunggu...sesaat gatal jari-ku mendelete...huuu....sedey2...
kesimpulannya, bulan ini Bulan Tade Rezeki...~.~

lastly...get funky~

dis is goin' to be the final weekend for me to stay in desa pandan...still got 3 days to finish up my practical training at AMG...goshh...i do hope that these 3days will come up very quickly...kerna...sorry to say...but i feel bored easily these few days...i'm tired of doin' the same routine at d office everyday...ughh...need somethin' that can boost up my energy...huuu...

or maybe...coz we all hv submitted our practical report, as well as d thesis proposal...yeay!i shud say my heartiestttt congrats to myself...good job fadhlina!^^ at least i hv managed to finishe up all those 'to-do-list' during dis holidey...DONE!yeay...!

err...actually i still got one more thing to do...but i'm thinking of doin' it once i get back to my hometown later...coz hv no idea rite now...the one dat i've promised to mr.hong long ago...the model making book write up...pity him...sorry mr.hong...i've been quite busy lately...~.~

i've met a lot of nice people during this semester break...
they do lighten up my day...everyday...i feel really-really good...

Client Requirement & Preferences

During the last discussion on facebook (before I started doing my practical training in KL), i've managed to post some brief on the ideation of my thesis proposal, and get some feedback from En. Fawaz, Pn.Ruby Mursib and Pn.Suriati Harun, as well as Hj. Zahran Ismail, who is a resident of Taman Sutera. Hj. Zahran Ismail is the Vice President for JPIS (Jemaah Penduduk Islam Sutera. Based on the online discussion, here are some of the client preferences that i got (basically stated by Hj.Zahran, copy+paste from my Facebook =)

a) this should be a multipurpose to serve the community...for chldren tuition,women cooking/rligious classes and activities,teenagers activities..mb futsal,volleyball,takraw,a mini library/TV?.must maintained the unique traditional kampong,woodn verandah nidentity,vry nic and cool with kolam forr wudhu'and cool place with natural greens/l aeration,without aircon.Beautiful to pull the crowd and mb become a tourist attracton but in the rtrue Islamic spirit of no wastage of money and othr resources.

b) surau appealing for all generations in its truest sense.'state of the art'Surau...

c)Plot on the southwest tu perlu didulukan dgn plan nya...kalau boleh kita recycle air ujan banyak boleh save waterkan..lagi satu jgn buat plan toilet yang standard sekarang, amek contoh di Thailand toilet lapang sesuai untuk muslim beristinjak ...

Before balik ke rumah...sempat singgah di Amcorp Mall seketika utk sarapan pagi...perghh...manusia sgt ramai...duloo2 xpenah2 ade manusia seramai ini di situh...sepi jek dahulu ku-rasa...biasa-lah,aku mmg selalu berkunjung ke mall itu kerna penah melibatkan diri dalam business multilevel marketing yang skrg duet modal-nye ntah terbang ke mana...hahaha...rugi2...~.~

Ohye...kakak-ku kate, sejak2 ade flea market setiap weekends tetibe jek shopping mall itu yg dahulu-nya sepi menjadi semakin di-gemari....yg istimewa-nya aku rase kerna brg2 yg di-jual di sane ala2 brg2 yg di-jual di area central market...ye la kot (padahal da lame x g CM)...kebanykan-nya adalah brngan antique yg lama yg masih lagi di-gemari dan di-cari oleh sebilangan manusia di ibu kota...contohnya segala brg tembaga yang lama2, duet kertas yang datang dari zaman dahulu kala, serta pelbagai koleksi piring hitam dari pelbagai genre...yang syok-nya, byk buku2 lama di-jual dgn harga yang murah...huu...style2...

Tapi bukan itu yg membuat ak rase besh...yg besh-nya sbb kt Amcorp Mall itu byk kedai/gerai buku-buku (dan kebanyakan-nya adalah buku2 yg sgt inspiring)...TAPI paling besh...ak berjaya beli buku nih...tadaaa....[tgk-la comparison antara recommended retail price vs. price yg ak beli]...syiok!



cheap+cute+comel+besh=awesomeness! sgt seronok ku-rasa...ni bukan buku lama beb...ber-cover plastic ag mase ak beli tuh...a dazzling array of more than 150works by 22big-eye fantasy artists...^^

Btw...sebenarnya lepas bace buku ini baru ak dapat taw bout this kind of art genre..,bahawasa-nya fenomena ‘big-eye art’ ini sgt popular pada era 1950-an...dan buku ini merupakan compilation artwork2 artis ‘mata-besar-seni’ yang terkenal pada masa ini seperti Blonde Blythe, Jasmine Becket Griffith, Lisa Petrucci, Kelly Haigh dan sbgai-nya...fuuu...n guess whut...most of them are gurlss! hehe...biase-aaa...gurls kan suke lukis mende2 cumel...(barula normal kan?) patotla lukisan ak pn lebey kurang cmni gk...pergghh...pasni leh aa juinventure geng2 ‘mata-besar seni’ neyh...\(^-^)/ [berangan mesti kuat...haha]

Antara hasil seni yang paling aku sayang...kerna ia agak mencabar dek kekangan masa utk membuat-nya tatkala diri di-ikat dengan tanggung-jawab lain sebagai designer project studio instead of subject sampingan seperti assignement ini...di-kala menjalani studio urban design yang memerlukan kesabaran yang maha tinggi...bersengkang mata men-design character ini...di-samping melatih diri menerima segala kritikan dr rkn2 seperjuangan dr skudai+SPACE serta lecturer sendiri...commitment beb, commitment...itu sangat penting ye, kawan2...walaopun buat dgn agak rushing smpai ade part yang nampak begitu x teliti...naseb baik dapat a...(a tidak semestinya Ayam);P









da lame x bertukar menjadi cik merak....rindu-nyer...

Hari Pengguna 2010

hasil kerjatangan utk competition Hari Pengguna 2010...agak segan kerna ia amat skema...tidak mencermin-kan aku...cume aku mengikut rules yg dia bagi sahaja...~.~

Pagi tadi aku gembira…kerna berjaya menyiapkan suatu hasil kerja utk suatu competition, waloupun dateline-nyer hampir2 menjengah tiba...harapan-nyer semoga suratan itu sempat tiba pada waktu-nyer...pernah terfikir utk berputus asa, tetapi sokongan dr rakan membuat ak ber-semangat...iya....ak cume perlukan sokongan...kerna aku tidak punya apa-apa...dan supaya jari-jemari ini makin lincah berusaha...

Hasil kerja itu...tidak-lah sehebat mana, tetapi aku berasa bangga kerna dapat juga di-seap-kan walaopun byk lagi kerja lain yg lagi penting bersarang di kepala…tengahari td terus post sorang2 kerna xsabar dh nk menunggu hasil-nya...

Malam ini aku perlu rajin.sgt perlu.kerna sgt byk mende lain yang memerlukan sentuhan segera…tanggungjawab sebagai seorang pekerja+pelajar+anakanda ayah ma perlu aku usaikan se-sempurna mungkin.kalaopun diri terasa tidak sempurna.

Hurm...sempurna…ada-ke mende yg sempurna di dalam dunia ini?sesungguh-nya kita hanyalah hamba,byk kekurangan di-sini-sana...sungguh...malam ini tiba-tiba hati terasa sayu...sudah lama hati tidak seperti ini...aku terasa sangat kekurangan berbanding mereka-mereka yang lain...hati terasa hampa...kerna...

Tidak mampu lagi ku-teruskan tulisan ini.biarla ia menjadi xsempurna kerna tidak sanggup ku-habeskan ayat ini.biar di-simpan sendiri.biarlah...erm...hujung minggu ini mereka akan tiba...insya-Allah…aku perlu bertemu mereka...supaya hati kembali keruan.miss u so much...ayah+ma...I need u rite now...sgt-sgt-sgt...if only u knoe...
