Proposed MIA Art Campus

This is one of ma favourite design, which i did in high-rise studio last year...(4th year, 1st sem) with en.nurol azman's workbase. the site took place in Kuala Lumpur, next to Renaissance Hotel and near to LRT Dang Wangi... type of building usage is an art campus, which i hv choosen MIA (Malaysia Institute of Art) as ma cliet... concept development derived from the movement all activities surround it, where the site is located in a heavy-movement area..., surrounded with LRT and monorail lane, and near to the KLCC, ended up with d concept of 'motion'... precedent study was taken from proposed Kiss Tower which will be built in Kuala Lumpur oso...

The important things to be highlighted in this exercise are how to make the outlook of this building RESEMBLES the activities inside it, and also the consideration of public and private spaces separation in this building, since it will serve 3 types of main users, which are d visitors (art lovers-gallery), students (art campus-divided into 5main faculties) and also the workers (lecturers,managemant staffs, etc...)
